Shocking: 2.0 fake teaser/trailers with more than 100 million views

2.0 is the upcoming magnum opus of Shankar with Superstar Rajinikanth and Bollywood star Akshay Kumar in the lead. The film created quite a buzz among Indian audience right from the date of its announcement. However, the movie failed to achieve the feat of the most watched teaser on Youtube. 
The common notions earlier among experts were the following:
Piracy issue
'2.0' fell prey to online predators. Months before the scheduled release, some miscreants leaked the full teaser online which went viral on Whatsapp messenger.

Simultaneous release on multiple platforms
Unlike other movies teasers, 2.0 teaser was not released on YouTube first, for the mere sake of creating records. The producers released the teaser simultaneously on the online platform and in nearly 4000 3D and 2D screens throughout India.
However, the earlier theories have been now ruled out. Trade pundits have found out the real reason for the reduced view counts. It is the fake/unofficial releases.

The following is the list of few fake teaser/trailer videos published on YouTube which sum up to 100+ million views together. The video miscreants took the advantage of extended production time of the film. It is to be noted that many other videos were deleted by YouTube for copyright violations. Summing up everything would lead to a magical number which is unimaginable to be achieved by any movie in the current scenario.

Also, the movie promotions, movie announcements, reaction videos of 2.0 are in huge numbers compared to any other film in Asia. 

Keeping the above aspects in mind, teaser count of 2.0 cannot be taken into account as a criterion for the film's reach. The movie has already reached millions of people through official and fake releases. Everything contributes to the film's success. Finally, it can be concluded that the film will be an all-time highest grosser of Indian films and will take Indian cinema to the international level.
