Exclusive: Rajinikanth's 2.0 Cleared for China Theatrical Release

Indian blockbuster 2.0 is set to be released in China. It joins a growing number of Indian films to crack the world’s second-largest film market. 2.0 will release in China in May 2019 in 10,000 theaters with 56,000 screens (47000 3D screens) totally.

The Sci-fi action film is to be released by HY Media who are said to have collaborations with Hollywood studios such as Sony, 20th Century Fox, Warner Bros, Universal, and Disney. This will be the biggest ever 3D release for any foreign film in history.

Directed by S Shankar and starring Rajinikanth, Akshay Kumar, Amy Jackson, 2.0 was released on Nov 29 in India and most major territories. The film created several records in the box-office and is still running successfully.
