Sarkar is now trending on social media for its first look released yesterday as a treat to Vijay's fans on his birthday this year. It has created quite a lot of buzz within a few minutes of its release. However, a popular politician who is a former MP has come down heavily against the first look.  Anbumani Ramadoss tweeted to condemn actor Vijay for the first look, as he seems to be smoking in the image. His tweet read, " You’ll look more stylish without that cigarette. #SmokingKills #SmokingCausesCancer ."  In another tweet, he added, " Shame on Actor Vijay for promoting Smoking in this first look of his next movie. #ActResponsibly #DoNotPromoteSmoking." To recall,   in 2002, Rajini’s antics with the beedi in Baba provoked the PMK founder Ramdoss, who criticized Rajinikanth for misleading youths .  Son of Ramdoss  Anbumani raised the same concern when the first look of Thupakki released.  And also asked Dhanush to stop promoting smokin...

With 39M+ views, Mersal is the highest viewed Tamil teaser on Youtube. Kaala being Rajinikanth's latest film could not beat this record and is counting 28M+ views even after 3 months of its release. Here we point out the reasons why Kaala couldn't overtake Mersal. 1. Actor-Director combination Rajini-Ranjith combo had set a benchmark for teaser count on YouTube with their first outing Kabali. However, the movie received mixed reviews which made the people have less trust on Kaala which reflected in its teaser count. On the other side, Vijay-Atlee gave 'Theri' before 'Mersal' which mostly received the high appreciation from everywhere. 2. Broadcasting YouTube channels Sony Music India with 13M subscribers on today's date released Mersal teaser while, Wunderbar studios having less than a million subscribers released Kaala teaser. Bigger YouTube brand worked for Mersal. It has to be noted that Wunderbar had only 300K subscribe...

Addressing the media during Ezhumin trailer launch, actor Vivek, incidentally commented on Superstar Rajinikanth for not having set his party principles yet ( பலபேர் இன்னும் கொள்கையையே தேடிட்டிருக்காங்க). Actors Vishal, Karthi, and Simbu were present at the event when Vivek made this rather straight and shocking comment on Style King. He went on and criticized the decision of a big star who preponed the release of the latter's film (which is supposedly Kamal Hassan's Papanasam) during the release of his Palakattu Madhavan which resulted in the debacle of the movie. The actor also made a point on the changing interests of the audience and expressed his surprise over the reach for Sarvana stores ad.  # Superstar   # Rajinikanth   # Ulaganayagan   # KamalHassan # PuratchiThalapathi   # VIshal   # Karthi   # YoungSuperstar   # STR   # Simbu # Silambarasan   # Vivek   # Ezhumin

By  Vivek S Legendragod The Indian film industry, inclusive of all its regional language industries – Malayalam (Mollywood), Tamil (Kollywood), Telugu (Tollywood), Kannada (Sandalwood), Hindi (Bollywood), etc. stand united under the issue of censorship by CBFC (Central Board of Film Certification), apart from other problems unimportant like misogyny, female objectification, masala, star-driven movies, plagiarism and piracy. One might say, these same problems are real even for British and American films (Hollywood), so what’s the big deal? Well, if you ask that way nothing is and the article can end here. But no! We shall go on to discuss the topic title. The Indian film audience can be divided into two groups – ones who watch movies to while away their time with family and friends on their weekends; as a medium of entertainment, nothing wrong in that and they form the majority. These are the target audience for any entertainment flick which is marketed and packaged with...

A 1 minute and 27 seconds long rough cut teaser of the much-anticipated sci-fi thriller, 2.0, shown at a private screening, has been leaked online by some miscreants. The video has been going viral on several social media platforms. Teaser work of 2.0 was in progress at Mobscene, LA. It involved a lot of CG. It is to be noted just that two days ago Rajinikanth's upcoming Kaala film's teaser was leaked online before it was officially released. However, the teaser managed to complete 12M views on youtube after it was released the next day. A significant relief amidst this leakage mess is that the fans are stunned by the breathtaking visuals and Shankar’s visualization in the teaser. The leaked teaser has only heightened expectations of fans on the soon-to-release teaser and of course the movie. Khiladi Akshay Kumar, model-actress Amy Jackson are part of this high budget 3D spectacle. Lyca Productions has financed the movie, and the Mozart of Madras AR Rahman is the ...
