2.0 sets a new record with the film’s release set to 29th Nov. Dharma Productions has acquired the Hindi rights.  The company has officially reported on its Twitter account that 2.0 Hindi teaser & trailer have amassed together a total of 140M+ views across all the social platforms. The film’s teaser has beaten the records of several Hindi films including Sanju, ToH and Zero. The trailer of two of the most awaited films of the year - Shah Rukh Khan's Zero and Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar's 2.0 released back to back on 2nd and 3rd November. Zero's trailer which was 3min 15s long was nothing short of visual grandeur. The movie starring Shahrukh Khan and Anushka Sharma in the lead roles also features Katrina Kaif in a prominent role. 2.0 on the other hand apart from Rajinikanth in a double role, features Akshay Kumar and Amy Jackson. ಶಂಕರ್ ನಿರ್ದೇಶನದ ಬಹುಕೋಟಿ ವೆಚ್ಚದ ಚಿತ್ರ 2.0 ಟ್ರೈಲರ್ ಬಿಡುಗಡೆಯ ಸಮಾರಂಭ ನೆನ್ನೆ ಚೆನ್ನೈನ ಸತ್ಯಂ ಥೀಯೇಟರ್ ನಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆಯಿತು. ಈ ವೇಳೆ ಭಾರತದ ಸುಪ್ರಸ್ಸಿದ್ಧ ಕಲಾವಿದರು ಆನ್ಲೈನ್ ಮುಖಾಂತರ 2.0 ತಂಡಕ್ಕೆ  ಶುಭಕೋರಿದರು. ಕನ್ನಡದ ಹಿರಿಯ ನಟ ಶಿವರಾಜ್ ಕುಮಾರ್ ಮಾತನಾಡಿ ತಂಡಕ್ಕೆ ಶುಭಕೋರಿದರಲ್ಲದೆ, ಶಂಕರ್ ರವರ ನಿರ್ದೇಶನದಲ್ಲಿ ಅಭಿನಯಿಸುವ ಇಚ್ಛೆ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಪಡಿಸಿದರು.  ಇದಕ್ಕೆ ಉತ್ತರವಾಗಿ ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕ ಶಂಕರ್, "ಶಿವಣ್ಣರಂತಹ ಸೂಪರ್ ಸ್ಟಾರ್ ನನ್ನೊಂದಿಗೆ ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡಲು ಬಯಸುತ್ತೇನೆ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿರುವುದು ಬಹಳ ದೊಡ್ಡ ವಿಚಾರ. ಅವಕಾಶ ಸಿಕ್ಕಿದಲ್ಲಿ ಮುಂದೊಂದು ದಿನ ಖಂಡಿತ ಅವರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡುತ್ತೇನೆ" ಎಂಬುದಾಗಿ ಹೇಳಿದರು.
